Attorney Daniel J. Britt was born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He attended Appalachian State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science and minored in Criminal Justice. He attended North Carolina Central School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate. He has been licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina since 2012.
Attorney Daniel J. Britt began practicing law as an Assistant District Attorney in the District Attorney Office of Cumberland County, North Carolina under District Attorney, William West. In this employment he gained extensive experience in the criminal law, prosecuting criminal offenses such as traffic violations, driving while impaired offenses, assaults, Death by Motor vehicles, and many other offenses under the laws of the State of North Carolina.
Attorney Daniel J. Britt was an Assistant District Attorney until January 2015 when he left that office to join the Law Office of Carl L. Britt, Jr. Attorney at law. Since 2015 Attorney Daniel Britt has been practicing criminal defense law including traffic, driving while Impaired, misdemeanor, and felony offenses.
Attorney Daniel J. Britt has been practicing personal Injury plaintiff litigation since he began at our firm. He is an experienced trial attorney who has tried both criminal and civil trials in Superior Court. When not in a court room Attorney Britt can be found advocating on his clients behalf in settlement negotiations, reviewing medical records, preparing court filings, and advising clients on their cases.
